BUG REPORT: RTG Edge Rusher Depth Chart Bug (LEDGE/REDGE Issue)

Has anyone else run into this in Road to Glory?

I'm playing as an edge rusher, but once I move up the depth chart, the game starts ranking me at RDE1 instead of the position I'm supposed to be playing, LDE. Because of that, the game constantly rotates me in and out, and I end up playing almost every other snap instead of staying on the field.

In one of my RTGs, I earned the starting job at Notre Dame and was playing every defensive snap with no issues. Later, I cheated on a test, which dropped me on the depth chart. After that, I had to do a position battle for RDE1 instead of getting my LDE spot back. Ever since then, the game has been stuck treating me as the right edge rusher, and the constant substitutions have completely changed my playing time.

It basically glitched my entire four-year RTG save. Before this happened, I rarely came off the field. Now I'm forced to sub in and out almost every other play, even as the starter.

Has anyone found a fix or workaround for this, or is this just a bug that needs to be patched?

    Do you think you could make like a step by step? I don’t really know how it would work because I’m assuming the playbook creator at the main menu does not directly correlate to your RTG save?

    Nah you can always create your own playbook dude! You just can’t call your own plays, but your playbook will only contain formations that you’re not going to be subbed out for. 

    I was on the beta; I did not have this experience when I created an EDGE. It’s likely that they fixed something else and it broke progression logic for EDGE players.

    Well it takes loads of in game time to gain enough coach trust to create that, (from what I remember.) The dev team should have just fixed this from launch! Why add new positions if there not even ready for player use!? It’s crazy to me that a multimillion dollar company can’t fix simple issues like these, smh.

    Hey create your own defensive playbook, remove any formation with a 3-man front, and use 4-2-5 instead of traditional Nickel. It’s because you’re not a starter at RDE/LDE which means you will not play in situations where it’s an obvious passing situation.

    I’m having this same issue. I was in position battles at Right Edge even though I’m listed as Left Edge and I keep being subbed off the field after every other play despite my W&T still being above 80%. It was not like this in the beta. Edge was really fun then… now, it sucks.

    What you're describing isn't the same issue I'm having. Yours sounds like another position battle/depth chart problem where the game isn't promoting you despite your rating and coach trust.

    My issue is different: the position battle is being applied to RIGHT EDGE only, not LEFT EDGE. Because of that, even when you're the starting LEFT EDGE, the game keeps rotating you out every other play as if you're sharing snaps in a right-side position battle. It looks like the position battle files may not have been updated correctly, causing the wrong EDGE position to be affected.

    I went to a small mountain west college as the #4 national player and was benched the entire year I practiced every time manually and got gold majority of the time spent energy on leadership conditioning and grades. My coaches trust was above the other 3 edge players but I remained EDGE4. I transferred to a small B1G school and had a higher rating and was projected to start when I transferred. Again my coaches trust was higher than the other 3 edge players but I remained Edge4 until the last 2 games of the year and ended up starting the last game. I did not transfer and we have the same coach I still have a higher rating by and my coaches trust is 17,069 as EDGE4 and Edge1 has a coach trust of 200. 

    WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!
