Tier selection not working now

Prior to the patch the tier selection for RTCFP was working well for me. Now it’s completely useless.  I just get Tier 1 opponents no matter what tier I select. How do you go backwards in that regard?  Do you actually regression test or what is happening?  Loved 25. 26 was not great. This year was enjoying some of the changes but thanks for ruining RTCFP since now I just face the same 4 teams. I’m still not interested in CUT, no matter how many ways you degrade the other play modes.  The sad thing is this is probably on purpose to try and coerce people over to CUT.

    Yeah bro, it was their title game and even if you won it, it wouldnt count as a championship on your stats. It happens from time to time

    In one of my games, it was the third game of my season, I was paired in a CFB National championship game!  Was it the other players National championship game?

    how does that happen?

    Here we go again with another issue! The matchmaking and lack of tier locking, especially in the playoffs, makes it unplayable!

    Has anyone else reported this issue? They won’t do anything this is the only (free) mode in the game without micro transactions! They won’t care unless we report!

    Yes that’s correct, I pushed last year when it wasn’t allowing you to get to the playoffs! Made the game unplayable took 13 long days to get it fixed!

    NittanyBlue98​ search the bug fourms and you'll see I listed this as a bug. The more votes that post gets the soon this madness can be fixed.

    The last 5 games ive played yesterday and this morning have been matched up against oregon, oregon, osu, oregon, texas since the update. This happened seting up a game va tier 3,4, and 5s.  Everytime it took 1 or 2 seconds for the game to find a "match"

    I can confirm that the matchmaking is completely broken.It was working great before the update.You could play any tier you want.And it would stay within that request.Now it's just raindomly pairing you up immediately usually tier 1 everytime.  No matter what setting you put on it.

    EA, this needs addressed quickly. Seriously damaging to the Road to the CFP game mode. There is no reason to play unless you want to play as a top team.

    I myself have entered three games with T4's and was thrown into a game in two seconds each time against Oregon, Miami and Texas after having requested a T4 opponent. That tells me its not even trying to look at my tier request and is just throwing me into the first available game.
