College Football 27 Won’t Launch on PC
I'm having an issue launching EA Sports College Football 27 on PC through the EA app.
When I launch the game, EA Javelin AntiCheat starts and the EA app says "Launching Game," but the game crashes and returns me to the EA app library. I receive the error code 0xC0000005.
My system is running Windows 11 version 26H2, OS Build 26300.9711. Windows Update says my system is up to date. I also encountered Windows Update error 0x80073D02 when an update failed to install.
I've already tried:
- Repairing the game through the EA app
- Updating my graphics drivers
- Checking antivirus settings
- Turning off the EA in-game overlay
- Running the EA app as administrator
- Uninstalling and reinstalling EA Javelin AntiCheat
- Restarting my PC
None of these steps fixed the issue.
I found reports of possible compatibility issues between EA Javelin AntiCheat and Windows Insider builds. Could my Windows build be causing this error? Is there a confirmed fix or an update planned to resolve it?
I would appreciate a solution that doesn't require reinstalling the game or resetting my PC.
