This is something I've been wondering for a while because it seems to happen every year.
On Xbox, the game can crash at any point during gameplay. It doesn't matter if you're playing an online game or an offline game against the CPU—it can still crash before you even finish a single game. Because of this, many players end up waiting a month or two after launch before the game becomes stable enough to enjoy.
What I don't understand is this: if EA eventually releases updates that fix these crashes, then it seems like the issue is already understood. If it's the same type of problem every year, why isn't it identified and resolved before the game launches?
I'm genuinely looking for an explanation. Is this an engine issue, an Xbox-specific compatibility issue, or something else? I'd appreciate hearing from the development team about why this continues to happen at launch and what is being done to prevent it in future releases.
I'm not trying to complain just for the sake of complaining. I enjoy these games and want them to succeed. It's just frustrating to pay full price at launch and then have to wait weeks or months before the game is stable enough to play consistently.
