Hard lag

Is there any way of playing with out the hard lag.   It is so bad, right from the players running out to the field it will begin to lag/freeze.   I cleared the cache and the game is set on performance mode and it still continues.  I don’t know what else to do.    Anyone have suggestions , I’m all ears.
