PC Error when playing friend online

Needing a resolution to solve an error that I keep getting.

Error

Unable to join the session because all players were not on the latest game version. Please make sure all players have downloaded any updates and try again.

How do i fix the problem?

I've already hit repair on EA app

reset computer

I don't use steam I use the EA app directly but I  added to my steam game opened same error no luck.

    I am having this same issue right now and both of our games are updated has been happening for weeks now anyone know how to fix it?

    Also when I join a game online game session sent to me from a friend it send me to Ultimate teams when it doesn't give me an error.
