Knock knock!… Anybody there? Is this getting fixed or am I getting refunded? One of the two needs to happen immediately! 

luckily Madden 27 isn’t freezing with this issue so whoever your engineer’s are should know how to fix it. Figure this out right now today! I’m about to lose it!

 Reach out to me directly Immediately or I will start to make this a larger issue than it already is. This game is unplayable with this issue. I’m not doing the workaround of just never checking stats in a game. You fix the problem! 

a72a56a085691758​ We are still waiting for the players to report this so we can provide the information we requested in the pinned message. While we wait on that info, players have found a few tricks to bypass or escape the freeze without losing game progress:

• The Controller Trick (To Save an Active Frozen Game): If you are currently stuck on the frozen stats screen and don't want to lose your game progress:
  1. Turn on a second controller and connect it to your console.
  2. Turn off the first controller (or the second one).
  3. This action forces the console's native "Controller Disconnected" system overlay to pop up on screen, which can break the frozen UI loop and allow you to exit back to gameplay or the menu to save your progress.
• The Prevention Method (Avoid the Stats Screen): Until a patch goes live, avoid opening the individual Player Stats, Box Scores, or Team Stats screens mid-game (especially in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters) or in the post-game menu. Exit straight to the Dynasty or Career Hub as soon as the clock hits zero.
• Toggle Injuries and Wear & Tear (Reddit Slider Workaround): Some players reported that turning Injuries to Off and setting Wear and Tear to Off in the main settings before starting your game prevents the system from triggering the spreadsheet recalculations that cause the stats page to freeze.

EA_Shepard​ After not playing the game for over a month because of this issue I just tried again to see if the advice above would work. In play now offline it froze again on that “refreshing spreadsheet please wait” screen while looking at stats in the 4th quarter (I purposely was looking at stats often to see if it would freeze again). I tried the switching controller trick mentioned above and it did not work in getting out of that freeze message. 

I always play with wear and tear and injuries both disabled so that is not the issue either. So at this point it seems you just can’t check stats during a game at all in order to prevent this from happening. Which is not a solution. Might as well take that whole viewing stat option away in games then. 

I provided all of the details you asked for 19 days ago in this thread. Are yal needing more people to provide those details also? 

This is usually my favorite game every year and I’ve never had this issue in the past. I’d like to be able to play the game soon with this being resolved. 

I see tons of other people posting on Reddit, operation sports, YouTube and these EA forums with the same issue. Yea gameplay patches for blocking and coverages, recruiting, adding players and uniforms, etc are cool but it makes no difference if you can’t get through a game bc of this freeze.

I feel like this needs to be a huge priority to be patched. Has this been escalated yet? Really anxious for this to be fixed and an update on this soon.
