There are some other steps in this post which may help, if the main process didn't: http://answers.ea.com/t5/C-C-The-Ultimate-Collection/C-amp-C-Generals-Zero-Hour-startup-error-Activation-dll-load/td-p/4201454
Followed the suggested solution and DNR Origin Client and CC RA2, nothing helped, still have this error. What can I do?

For 32-Bit systems, the 'Activation.DLL' file must be:
Version: 4.2.0.27
Size: 1015KB (approx)Location: RetailExe/1.2 (for Kane's Wrath)
NOTES: Locations vary with game, Red Alert 3/Command & Conquer 3 TW/KW all use the same version.
TW Location: RetailExe/1.9
RA3 Location: UNKKNOWN (look for the '.dat' file, it should be next to it)
KW Location: RetailExe/1.2
ALSO NOTE: 'ssleay32.DLL' and 'libeay.DLL' are also required
Version: 1.0.0.3 (applies to both files)Size: 231KB (approx) and 1081KB (approx)
Location: GAME_ROOT (next to the main Game.EXE)
EXTRA NOTE: 'msvcp100.DLL' 'msvcr100.DLL' 'msvcr100d.DLL' may apply to Kane's Wrath
Version: 10.0.40219.### (values vary)
Size: 400KB-1200KB (this value is not accurate, as versions cross-games vary)
Location: GAME_ROOT
Other files may be required; I am making a list of these though.
Try re-installing the game if you get this far and still need help with more DLL's.

Major problems sprout from using Origin to play anything.
First, TOO MUCH LAG
Second, it renders games almost unplayable
Third, you need to use a PC with a minimum of double the recommended specifications for the game
Forth, you need to have 1GB of RAM just so Origin doesn't freak out every ten minutes
Did I mention, the Origin Launchers don't work, you have to use MODdb to get working Launchers.
Anyone wanting to adjust their gaming experience (by using MOD's) for removing Super-Weapons, CAN'T.
Trying to make Maps is harder as you need to edit your registry in order to play them.
Origin has to be operational until the loading of the game is completed, once completed, you have to press the Windows key to get to the Desktop.
This invariably crashes the game and over-heats your system unless you have higher graphics capacity.
Origin is NOT at all compatible with Windows 8 or higher, and when Origin is working, the games invariably have problems constantly.
NONE of the CNC titles are compatible to Windows 8 or higher and have major issues such as what is shown here.
Severe corruptions can be one of many results or using Origin on Windows 8 or higher.
An online connection must be sustained in most cases, unless you go round the rigmarole of doing all sorts of stuff to switch online functions off.
Origin don't like having to share RAM/HDD power, simple as.
Only one system can use a login at one time (unlike with discs, where you only need a network holding the disc to run two instances of CNC*).
*This is something for advanced users, and only when they can't find another copy of the game, I am not one of these, I've just heard of it being done on LAN games.
