Application only works ONCE after installation, iOS 13.7/iPhone 11 Pro

Having an issue for the last two weeks. Contacted support today but they are not able to fix it and suggested posting here for assistance.

If I want to play the game, I first need to delete it and reinstall from the the App Store. I receive an error during the 120MB download post application installation from the App Store. The error says "Patching encountered an error 20%". Sometimes it is at 19%, but mostly I see this at 20%. When I hit retry the game opens and then works until I close it down, or multitask into another application. I have tried the 120MB download on more than one WiFI network as well as my cellular connection.

So basically for the last two weeks I have to reinstall the game if I want to play it. I also have the white pixel bug/issue that I saw in the bug forum too.

Thank you in advance for any support that can be provided.

  • Rivals has not been updated for any version of iOS 13 at all so far. It may well cease to work completely, unless EA does provide the necessary updates.

  • Does this issue happen starting with iOS 13.7 and previously did not happen, say with iOS 13.6? 🤔

With all the cheaters that play this game, I wouldn't purchase a thing.

Surely you have some evidence for your claim? Come on, show us a screenshot of somebody cheating. We're waiting.

It’s EA’s job to find cheaters.  Just played against ALEXANDER who got a mammoth writhing 30 secs of game starting.  And keep the smarmy attitude to yourself, lil fella.

This claim seems rather far-fetched. The game does not give you enough tiberium to both open up the Tech Lab and to build a Mammoth Tank that early on in a game. If it did still happen, then yes it must have been cheating, since otherwise it would have been utterly impossible. (Disclaimer: I am talking about a regular game on ranked ladder here. In some of the events, it is possible to build an expensive unit very early on, since you are given a lot of Tiberium right from the start.)

Please understand that it is important to bring some evidence to such a claim, since if what you say is true, that means that the game is extremely broken. If we can present such evidence to EA, then the chances of it getting fixed are vastly increased. This is what you should want as well, no?

While it is some work to make a recording of an entire battle played, making a screenshot and uploading it to the Internet is very easy. So could you please post a screenshot? Thanks.
