Balance Changes - Jan. 24

Commanders,
We have introduced balance changes for the Rockworm and Basilisk.

Nod
Rockworm
In Update 1.3, the Rockworm damage was changed to AoE splash damage. When attacking squad units, the damage is applied to each member of the squad.
For example, in a five-man Infantry unit, each member of the squad would be dealt 90 damage.

  • Changed Rockworm damage to AoE Splash Damage (Update 1.3)
  • Damage when Unburrowing vs. Infantry reduced to 90 (was 150)
  • Damage when attacking vs. Infantry reduced to 90 (was 250)

Basilisk
In Update 1.3, the Basilisk’s charged up laser was changed when facing squad units. This change has been reverted. The Basilisk now charges up for each individual member of the squad.

  • Reverted the change from Update 1.3, Basilisks need to charge up for each member in a squad.

  • Anything created by EA is pure garbage. You guys have turned into one of the WORST gaming companies out there. Full of greed and meddling. Everytime i see a new game and I'm like "damn that looks good, I'm gonna get it" then I see EA on it. I immediately change my mind in buying it. I will never put any money towards anything you people create and I advise everyone in my gaming community to do the same. Nothing that you ever release is fair or good. You are a pathetic group of people that caters to the casual gamer that has 0 skills. You do everything you can to make people that will spend money stay and play your games. EA is pure garbage and all of my twitch followers and IG followers are advised and pushed to never get anything EA. I always leave a bad review on everything you do because your work is pure greed. 

  • New exp system is bad. I get like 16 exp per win but i lose 21 when i lose a game, that doesn't make sense at all...

    Hi @KSKNFT,

    There are two different systems used in Rivals:

    • Experience - Experience is used to level up your Player Level. It is earned in various ways - playing battles (the first 10 battles of each day gives bonus XP), leveling up units, completing bounties. You can only earn experience when playing battles
    • Medals - Medals are used for your league progression and in matchmaking. You earn Medals for a victory and lose Medals for a defeat. The amount of Medals that you win or lose depends on the Medal count of your opponent vs. your Medal count. 
  • Rockworm DPS at lvl 6 is about 750 and just 1 shot killed my tick tank! Also killed a harvester from 2 tiles distance?! Extreme OP! Tick tank health is about 2800, so how do you explain this? I have video proof just not sure how to upload.  

  • This game is getting worse by each update. Your matching system is horrible. I used to be able to win but now I haven’t won a match without someone disconnecting. Garbage. Complete crap. You guys are really messing this game up. Make the challenge matches even for crying out loud or at least so you don’t lose xp. It is beyond frustrating to actually have a good plan but you can’t win a damn game because the other player crushes you with way too high of units. 

  • I play several EA games, madden 19, ufc 3, rivals, and Alex legends. Highly disappointed with every game. I can understand 1 or 2 games being bad but seems like everything EA puts their tag on is just pure garbage. I will never ever buy or put money in any EA game ever again. They are all so bad lol it's a joke. Their development team has got to be one of the worst I've ever seen. How anyone feels the desire to spend money towards your company blows my mind. I've been gaming since 1994 and never has any game company ever let me down as much as EA.
