I have seen you invested quite a few on your lv 11 wheels, good at using them to weaken rocket/laser so there could be no match to your lv 13 tank.
I can understand why EA is not handling this in recent updates as the wheels are still on sale. I am not against P2W, but if it is not making better unit balance while invent new imba units, it will end up losing the no/small paying players.
Hmmm, I understand your points. I still think pitbull is better vs wheels that aren't in position, as the pitbull can fire on the move and while blocking, so it can wipe a wheel squad before it does anyhting useful, but on the other hand, bikes does a better job taking out wheels that are attacking something important like an mg squad. So there is a give and take to that.
but wardogs and wheels are 2 different units. They just kinda look the same. Wheels are 1 shots to everything anti-vehicle, where as wardogs are resistant to rockets/bikes/pits. So wardogs are better pad holders and can stall out decently against soft counters where wheels just get wrecked in half the time.
But the devs have acknowledged the complaints are and looking into wheels. Not sure how they will handle the nerf as it wouldn't be too hard to over do it and they will end up like drone swarms. Time will tell.

True, there is a little mini-game there. If you scout and they scout, you can either block their harv as theirs blocks yours, or you can block with yours while your harv gets into position. Can be frustrating when you lose the mini-game though. Personally wheels/wardogs blocking harvs is silly to me. But I'll be honest, I've no good ideas to prevent it.
