Black screen after chosing C&C or Red alert
Cant start the game ...After pushing the start icon and selecting C&C or Red alert butten there is only a black screen..... I have tryied editing the conquer.ini file and set the resolution to 192...

I just changed the resolution setting in my Nvidia control panel to be lower, 1920x1080. I guess it must override the regular Windows setting. Once I did that I did not have the black screen anymore. Then in the game I changed the resolution to 4k, then went back to the Nvidia control panel and changed that back to 4k too. Now I can play it in 4k.
Well, thank you for posting this. After a recent Windows and video card driver update, somehow the free download version of the game wasn't working. The change you posted helped me out. I need this game to play while I listen to pods!
