Black screen of Death!!!

I just bought the Command and Conquer Ultimate collection so I could play some Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge. Everything was working, I bought it I downloaded it and started it up.

When I started it up and it went black to load up the game it remained a black screen, yet I heard the music and then when it normally gets passed the opening scene and you have access to the mouse my mouse appeared on the still black screen. I tried doing the "my games" and then clicking repair game and then even afterwards it still did the same thing. The only way I can get out of it is by pressing the windows + d to minimize it and then have to use the task manager to close it and try again.

Any suggestions on what I can do to ACTUALLY play the game I just bought I would really appreciate it.
