Support refused for legacy C&C Generals with proof (Case #242030733)

Hi everyone,

 

I am a long-time fan and legal owner of the physical Command & Conquer Generals Deluxe Edition and Zero Hour. Since my current PC does not have a disk drive, I wanted to have these legacy games entitled to my EA account.

 

I have contacted live support twice today (Case #242030733). I provided high-resolution photos of my original discs, the box, and the serial keys. I even included a personalized note with my name, date, and email in the photo to prove I physically own the items right now.

 

Shockingly, both advisors (Niranjan and Parpaj) insisted that I must contact the "retailer" for a receipt. This game was purchased nearly 23 years ago (around 2003)! It is physically impossible for any retailer (like D&R in Turkiye) to provide a receipt after two decades. I find this request very unreasonable for a legacy product.

 

I am attaching my proof of ownership here. Can a Community Manager please look into this case and help me add these classics to my library? I just want to play the games I legally own.
