Blinking Lights are a No No (unit bar feature 1.3)

This game is incredible good but is almost unplayable with a new feature added in 1.3.    When your units are available for deployment, the game tells you by flashing the unit bar with an obnoxious...

Well - there's both the hearing impaired and, also, people like me who don't play with sound 99% of the time.

That being said it's a little distracting - i'd rather a more faded look for units that aren't available and maybe a single pop as they become available - rather then the constant flashing.
