can not join an alliance

I went to change alliances. It let me leave my alliance and when I go to the "alliance" tab or view "my invetation" button I get a script error and the "go to homepage" pop up comes up. I tried reloading and rebooting and get the same thing. If it matters I am on world 83.

    I cannot join my FIRST Alliance.  Script Error and back to home page.

    This is TERRIBLE for such a hyped version of a game that has been up and running for 2 years.  Geesh!
