C&C games in EA-app

Question

Hello,I have played C&amp;C in various kinds but now in Windows 11 I allways get the message that a "MS overlay" doesn't work and I have to download/install something I don't know where to find. When I start one of the games, f.i. Command &amp; Conquer Red Alert 2, the game seems to start, I can click one of the two options (Standard or Yuri) but when I do that and I wait till the game start it will be a long lonely wait because it never starts, it disappears and the EA-app re-appears and I can start all over again with the same result... anyway, in short: the games don't work!Anyone a solution???T.i.a.!Andy

Same.&nbsp; How do we have games that we can buy now in 2025 and not play them via the app?&nbsp; &nbsp;Tried compatibility settings for them from Win95 to XP SP3 to Windows 7.&nbsp; Nothing works.Give the app administrator rights and it still asks upon launch for it.&nbsp;&nbsp;Comes up with a black screen usually and then just hangs.&nbsp; Have to log out of my session or restart Windows.&nbsp; Task Manager will be hidden by the Red Alert Window.&nbsp; Tried running RASETUP and still choosing options there fails.

It seems it is monitored more than this forum and as it appears to be an EA app issue it may be a better place.
