OK, I spoke with customer service. for Windows 8 in the orgin app go to my games, right click on game, go to properties and in command bar type -w then check box to disable origin
this will fix game and you will be able to run it. Hope this helps y'all
I am not so familiar with windows 8.1, may i know where to find the orgin app/my games?
