C&C launches stuck on loading screen, can't connect to license servers

I am unable to load up the game after July 01,2018. Not sure what is up, have waited up to 10mins, and when I reopen it states cannot connect to servers. Was wondering if others were having the same...

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this issue. This should now be resolved. You'll just need to update you Google Play store app before attempting to launch the game again.

    Let us know if you'll have any further issues.

I'll try tonight..  I'm afraid of losing progress.  I get it's in development.  I know I can't expect not to restart now and again.  Was just hoping there was another way.

On another note, have you tried updating Google Play Store correctly? To update Google Play Store, enter the Play Store app, navigate to Settings and scroll down and tap the "Play Store Version".
