C&C Red Alert 2 & Yuri’s Revenge unable to play

Hi,

I just downloaded the Red Alert 2 from Origin. I was able to launch the game successfully but only to see a blank option in the page. There was no option buttons e.g Campaign , skirmish ..

Then if I were to Alt-Tab out and back, the whole screen turns black.

Any idea?

The graphics system patch DDWrapper is known to solve these kinds of issues.

Download the zip file and extract "ddraw.dll" and "aqrit.cfg" into your game folder. Then, open the configuration file "aqrit.cfg" in Notepad, change the "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" option to 1, save the file, and the game should work.
