Hi, @exelanz
I found a better solution for me If you have/use RADEON:
Start the game where you like, after you select the blue or red game, make sure you have AMD Radeon on the desktop open in full screen, and then wait.
I mean: AMD has to be pinpointed as the primary page on your desktop in full screen AFTER selecting the blue or red game.
I also have borderless in the game settings.P.S. My local friend with NVIDIA hasn't experienced this issue.
Hi @Vinnie_PB,
Thank you so much for your reply. I am indeed running a full AMD system.
I just found out in some old thread there is an AMD Cleanup Tool
After running this tool & reboot suddenly everything worked as normal. Supposedly this tool cleans up old drivers and such.
So probably a second option to fix things.
Thanks
- @Vinnie_PB can you please tell me what you mean with "AMD Radeon"? Is this the AMD Adrenaline software?
Still looking for the issue. I can say with 99% certainty that the AMD Adrenaline Software is causing the problems. As said before, removing this driver will make the menus respond normally (however skirmish gameplay is lagging). I tried an 3 months old AMD Adrenaline Software and the menu performance is much better. So this seems to be the single variable that causes issues.
I have opened cases with EA, AMD and Sapphire (Graphics Card Manufacturer) and hope to get some answers and solutions.
- mrtnptrs2 years agoSeasoned Ace@exelanz Did updating the AMD GPU driver to the very latest version not fix the issue for you? Are you sure the game is run on the dedicated GPU and not on the integrated GPU that is possibly within your CPU?
Yes I use latest version of GPU driver, no I don´t have integrated GPU.
Might have found a solution, read my post on AMD forum here:
