C&C3 "could not find game version 1.0"
Hi there, every time i wanted to start C&C 3, i get the error "could not find game version 1.0". Kane's Wrath works fine, but Tiberium Wars doesn't. Update with origin doesn't work, "all up to date"...

Hmmm ok i could fix it...i just uninstalled the game, rebooted system, reinstalled it again (loading 13,5 gb really takes a long long time), got another error, slept one night, tried it again (uninstall, reboot, reinstall) and it worked...yeah! 😕mileyvery-happy:
Still unsure why i got this error but maybe it was because i had some registry things from my last installation of C&C3 (some years ago).
New computer...and after 2 years still the same error after installing C&C3 and still no answer at ANSWER(!!!) HQ. So even at my new computer i can't start C&C3 or the Addon. Would anyone from EA please be so kind to care about the problems of their customers (really i had problems with Origings and nearly every EA game i bought).
Problem still there and still no reaction from EA. 😠
Hey, two years ago, you said you fixed it. Do you really expect people to try to help you solve your problem if you said you already solved it?
Also, this board isn't "EA"; most people here, including me, are volunteers. Just players helping other players. If you want actual EA help, go to the actual EA tech support.
2 years ago i didn't fix it, it just resolved from itself. But that can't be the solution to this problem. And as u see above, i'm not the only one with this problem.
And german EA support wants me to post my problems here.
