Strange. If the Origin In-Game thing is disabled, I don't see how Origin would in any way affect the installed games. Did you install Bibber's fixed game launchers?
Thanks Nyerguds. I did install that Bibbers fix and it seems to have fixed it. I'm not sure if that was it or not, but it is working now. Thanks!!

Bibber indeed shut down his site. His launchers are unsupported now. His launchers probably doesn't fix anything like this. An alternative to Biiber's launchers would be to replace the executables with the original ones. See my guide for this that I made last week: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Command_%26_Conquer:_Generals#Restore_mod-_and_command-line-parameter_support_.28Origin.2C_The_Ultimate_Collection.29 Please don't install Bibber's launchers, as they are unsupported now! Just follow the "Replace the executables of the games"-steps. To make the game more stable, you can install Gentool alongside the other solution: http://www.gentool.net/
Does any of this fix your LAN/network play for you? I assume you are speaking about that? Because if you want online play, I would suggest you to follow this guide that I made also last week: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Command_%26_Conquer:_Generals#Get_online_play_working_again_.28Windows.29
