I think they actually restarted them (or, cleaned off some cob webs, at least) when they did the big TUC update for the Steam release.
True, but that was already months ago, so shouldn't affect this recent issue. But the restart did not fix this issue, it was to fix custom hosted games. This General system error is just because of the unstable always-online method being used, to my knowledge.
