Command & Conquer General Direct X error

Try clearing your Origin cache and then disabling or temporarily uninstalling any anti-virus programs you have before trying the game download and installation again.

If you run into the same problem, then launching in Safe Mode and then running DXSETUP.exe from the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\__Installer\directx\redist (if you install your games to a different location, then you will need to check there for the Generals game files instead).
