Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour-Won't connect online...

Earlier this week, I bought the ultimate collection of Command & Conquer Generals from eb games and went to download Command & Conquer Zero Hour from origin.... so I did and went to create an online ...

Generals, Zero Hour, C&C3, Kane's Wrath and Red Alert 3 all used the Gamespy system for their online play, but the whole system has been shut down in July 2014.

However, community servers have already been set up, so it should be possible to play online that way. More information on that can be found at http://cnc-online.net/

How come it shut down in 2014?? And thanks for the help 🙂

  @NOVAxMagna I literally linked to the wikipedia page that explains it all. Basically, the multiplayer of these games was managed by an external company, and that company went bankrupt or something like that.
