Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 for MAC

The Australian EA site shows both Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 and Tiberium Sun being available for MAC and links to the Origin Site to purchase (http://www.ea.com/au/mac/strategy) but when I get to the individual game page on Origin it shows as PC Download (https://www.origin.com/en-au/store/buy/c-c-red-alert-3/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition)?

  • the same issue is shown in the US stores, it says it's available, because they did release it on the Mac platform, but for some reason it's not available from EA.  I just submitted a post requesting that they release more of the Command & Conquer franchise on the Mac App store.  Wouldn't life be great.

The EA site itself is just a catalog though, not an online store. The pages for these games say they are available for "PC Download" and "Mac". As you can also see, besides those, "PC" itself (without download) is mentioned separately, and the list does not include "Mac Download". This indicates the games were released for Mac, but there are no digital downloads for these versions.

Long story short... try to track down a physical copy.
