CnC Generals asking to sign in to EA account

My Father has been unable to play this game due to this issue for the past 6 months. The game loads up like normal, but after a couple of seconds, it tells him to sign in again with his EA account and fails to log him in after he puts in his correct username and password. Are there any solutions to this? My father all but gave up on trying to fix this. This game is his favorite, and he has been really bummed since this issue occurred. I need my Battle buddy back!

    I have the same problem and I chat with EA support and thay couldn't help me

    Same problem, how could it be possible ? 
    Buy a game and cant play it ? WHAT ?? I dit anything i saw in forums and youtube videos to fixit and nothing works;

    I don't know if you ever managed to sort this, but from my own experience, I had to reset my password and make sure there were no special characters (*# etc.) In there. Just a simple 8 letter password. Tried again and it worked.

    This support is USELESS. It's a SCAM they sell you something that works for few months and suddenly it won't. And when you contact them nobody will answer and your money is GONE!!!
