command and conqer red alert 2 Fatal string manager failed to intialize properly

Every time I try to Launch command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 and yuris revenge I keep getting a message that says ***Fatal*** string manager failed to initialize properly can this be fixed

in summary:

I have Windows 11/ Acer laptop. I have changes all "application" files to run as administrator....still getting the Fatal message. This is disappointing. I dont know any other way to get RA2 to open. What am i doing wrong or what do i need to do???

@wranglerobgyn But I have one other solution that could possibly help; set the main executable to compatibility mode "Windows 98/ME", that should likely fix your issue. If you don't know how to do this, Google "compatibility mode" and you should be alright 🙂 Let me know if it helped.
