Command and Conquer 4 unable to start, unhandled exception culture 8192
Unable to start Command and Conquer 4, haven't played it since Origin, and now I can't get it to work.
Get an unhandled exception error. "Culture 8192 (0x2000) is not a supported culture" across two popups, I can see the old launcher behind, but can't interact with it.
I've contacted support, but they were unable to help, and said they would share it with the team and investigate with no concrete ETA, but I shouldn't expect it to be anytime soon.
I get the feeling that it might be never, but they suggested I post here also.
What I've attempted:
Updated Windows 10 to latest updates.
Tried running as administrator with windows xp sp3 compatibility modes
Reinstalled the EA App and cleared all application data.
Removed and reinstalled Net Frameworks.
Updated drivers.
Disabled Firewall.
Tried setting language to English (United Kingdom) for Windows, region, and keyboard language.
My googling led me to the same error with Elite Dangerous, in that case it could possibly be fixed by adjusting a config file, forcing it to use a newer version of net frameworks, but I haven't been able to find a similar file for Command and Conquer 4.
Anyone have any other idea?
