Command and Conquer 4 will not load after launching and logging in

I just purchased command and conquer 17 pack and when I launch command and conquer 4 it brings up a window to login to ea.  I do that then it tries to launch the game. Showes my mouse for a moment and then just sits on a black screen no sound.  I am running windows 7.

    Hey @Soljisk can you try the following steps to see if they help:

    • Change Windows resolution to 800×600 (Right click on Desktop, select resolution)
    • Launch the game
    • Go into settings, change the resolution to your monitors native resolution
    • Save settings and exit the game
    • Return to Windows and change your resolution back to what it was before
    • Launch the game again
