go into task manager. Your game must still be runnng un one of the files. check each tab for your Command and Conquer Game. find, click end task, then go back into origin and see if it is still greyed out

I've just built a new system (Win 8.1 64 bit / i7 cpu) and done a fresh install of everything, and still get this problem. Can't get past the 'Generals or Generals Zero Hour' screen.
Is there a way to get in contact with some official support channel?

This has been a constant problem after ORIGIN updated!!! I keep reinstalling and works a couple of time, then "grey's out" when I try it again. Very frustrating.
