Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 Base Explodes

I just downloaded Command and Conquer Red Alert 2, and I cannot play the game at all. In multiplayer, my base explodes within the first 5 seconds every single match and I cannot start the campaign because it kills my Tanya within the first five seconds also. I've read that this was an anti-piracy thing, but I bought this thing from Origin, so I didn't bootleg it. Can anyone help?
