The standard graphics card in most computers is enough for an ordinary computer user. However, if you are a gamer, you should pay special attention to this section.
The HP Envy x360 13′ model ships with AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics as standard. The HP Envy x360 15′ model, on the other hand, includes Intel UHD Graphics 620.
Regrettably, none of the graphics cards has a dedicated VRAM. This means that the graphics card uses the same internal memory as the CPU.
As far as I know, the Remaster really needs that dedicated video RAM, for loading the large amount of high-definition sprites the game contains.
Thanks @Nyerguds !
What's confusing though is that it did run perfectly on this laptop up until a few months ago. Has there been any updates that may have caused the issue I'm experiencing?
thank you

@matsamdav There haven't been any updates to the remaster for over a year, as far as I know. The September 2021 one was the final patch. It might be related to video driver updates?

Ah right ok. If it is related to video driver updates, is there anything I can do?
thanks again!
- Nyerguds4 years agoHero+@matsamdav I'm not sure... it's generally advised to use the latest drivers for all your hardware, but you could try looking up an older version and installing it to see if that changes anything.
