    A Battlefield game set in the Command and Conquer universe has potential.  

    I think an indie developer started down that path with RenegadeX.

      Sounds promising, they even had already a C&C with the Frostbyte engine in development 🙂 

      Base building + Battlefield in a C&C universe. I would say, this is some evolution of gameplay. Maybe it would work like the Total War Warhammer games...  But I think the next BF title will be something more "safe", what will sell better. Maybe another version of 2042 but... More streamlined and better. But for the future, I like this idea.
