Does command and conquer ultimate edition work in Windows 8?

I want to play the older games such as Generals and C&C 3. Can I play it on Windows 8?

Generals needs some tweaking, while C&C3 works fine. The most problematic are the older games, which need quite a bit of work to function properly on Windows 7+

You can find a lot of solutions and tweaks on the C&C boards

Let us know, should you have any troubles, launching those games. C&C one of the best, if not THE best strategy games series out there. Would love to see them re-released in HD someday.
