Downloading
If I buy the ultimate collection on origin does it download the games or do I have to be online to play them?
Once you buy the pack, all games are added as separate icons in your games list. There you can choose to download them, separately.
Once installed, the games don't need any internet connection (except C&C4 I think), but you still need to be logged in in Origin to play them. Though, I believe Origin has an Offline mode that allows you to log in once and then play the games offline later.
Note that the first three games are freeware, so for those you don't need to purchase The Ultimate Collection at all.
