Community AdminHmm. In case something glitched first time, try uninstalling, restarting Origin explcitly in admin mode, then install it again.
Ok so shall i uninstall origin and then install origin as admin? and then run origin as admin and then install red alert 2 and run that as admin?

Community AdminYou can do that, but just installing RA 2, then restarting Origin in Admin mode before reinstalling may suffice.

Community AdminHmm, I generally want to try fix issues without resorting to unofficial patches, but there's one mentioned in this thread that may help.
However it isn't an official EA one at all.
Tried to download the patch and it said 'the first decade 1.03 revision 4 has not totally installd beacuse of the following reason: Cannot install this program, a required file is missing'
Seems to be a problem every step! Thanks for your help though.
