Those scarabs are way powerful . The only way to kill them is to sacrifice your units . People are building them right off the bat because they are cheap . Some people only build them and sit them on the pads to win . There is no counter they hit land and air . They are ruining a fun game .

Hi @x420xB-Boy,
Scarabs are definitely a unique unit in Rivals. While they may be powerful, they also sacrifice themselves to damage enemy units. There's also quite a few ways to deal with them (although yes, it may mean sacrificing a low cost unit to remove the Scarab).
The easiest way to deal with Scarabs is to get into position before them. This gives you the defenders advantage, letting you shoot first. It also stops them from setting up a strong defensive position.
In terms of counters, that will depend on your level and what units you have available. Riflemen and Militants are the cheapest and easiest counters to Scarabs. Two range units, like the Sniper Team, are also a good option, as you can shoot the Scarabs before entering their range.
If you're starting with the Drone Swarm, you can also use that to attack Scarabs. I've had some luck flying over the enemy unit to destroy the remaining Scarab (this trick doesn't always work, but it's satisfying when it does!).

Hi EA_dance210,
The problem with Scarabs however if your opponent is rushing through and takes over 2 of 3 platforms with them - that's almost always an end if you're playing Nod. The reason is that to lure them out you need to attack it with 2 units from different sides(or they kill both at the same time) and then try to get on the platform earlier than your opponent does. The thing is that not everybody uses militarists and while GDI has options(disruptor, snipers, artillery) NOD is lacking them as it has mid game artillery and late game Basilisk ONLY no cheap way to counter it.... Not to mention that if you used your militarists to lure scarabs out - that path is closed to you for a while now as all infantry will burn while trying to cross the flame. Which only allows opponent to get his new scarabs into the position. It's too op it can attack air units I believe. Without it it could be a valuable alternative to GDI's jump get troopers.
