Game does not keep up with the players orders.

Product: Command & Conquer: Rivals
Platform:Android Phone
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) samsung s9
OS Version G980FXXS2BRJ6
What is your Player ID? Sirscientist
What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Summarize your bug So more or less, a fair amount of the time i have units, who are selected, i command them to go attack something annnnd they'll end up doing the wrong thing. A majority of the time it's the units attacking the wrong unit, especially when i'm using the obelisk, to the point i don't use it anymore. Then, there's also me tapping on units to select them then attempt to command them to do something, but it never selected my unit so i've told the originally selected unit a new command which usually results in either losing a capture point or them dying. To put it simply, you need to make your game more responsive to the players speed, I'm not even on the PC version and i have seen people have the same problem there. Make the game able to keep up with players who have quick micromanagement. It's just a joke that units get their commands mixed up because the game can't keep up.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By playing the game not at the speed of a snail, game needs to be able to keep up with people who micro their units quick

Please do something about this, it's part the reason i lose matches and that's just beyond infuriating.

Noticed two videos doesn't matter what your command is, it will stop if something is blocking your path like say that Titan.

If way becomes blocked then unit stops, works that way with everyone

  • Firstly the bike video nothing blocked me, secondly the titan video, you can drive under aircraft. There's no reason he should've gone down a tile, he should've kept on driving till the titan was on that specific tile to block him.

    Sorry for the late reply.

I have a look at the videos you've provided and keep you posted.

  • Also - have you tested 4G verse playing it on Wifi?  Your connection probably has more to do with it then anything.

Personally I find it works great by my job - the wifi is sweet.  At home... well... no so much, so I play off my 4g.

Don't know your situation but you might want to try changing up the connection.

I had a look at the first three videos you've provided, but unfortunately, due to them being replays, I can't see the input from you on the first and the last one, which makes it impossible to determinate if a unit behaved like it was supposed to.

Regarding the second video, your Pitbull was clearly blocked by the Titan and after that was destroyed you had to issue another command to move it to the middle tile. This is working as intended.

I keep an eye on it to see if I can dig further into it.

No, if you open your eyes and actually put some effort into investigating these videos, you can clearly tell what i am saying is the truth. That titan wasn't on that platform yet, if you had any idea about unit movement speed, you would know he wasn't on the tile yet to block until later on.

And no it's not the internet, i experience this units not doing what they're told daily. It's pathetic, why should i lose rank points because a game dev didn't do his job.

And you don't need to even see the command lines to know what a unit was suppose to do, you can see the direction they are heading.

Seriously, this is not a good look for a company, trying to shrug off in game problems and pretend you don't see them, so you don't have to fix them.
