Command & Conquer Generals and Zero Hour. I have repaired and repaired and repaired, but I keep getting the same error after the "splash" screen. [DirectX Error] "Please make sure you have DirectX 8.1 or Higher installed. Also verify that your video card meets the Min. requirements."...
I have checked: I have DirectX 12 installed, and have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card.
Just an extra: Getting support from EA for the C&C games is worse than pulling teeth. This is not the first time I have had problems with Command & Conquer games, so please forgive my hesitation in believing they will address this problem quickly.
