I have played thousands of matches and I am ranked in the top 1% in both GDI and NOD. I just want to say that the NOD has such an advantage with the type of weapons you can use that it is almost impossible to win with the GDI. EA needs to even the playing field. Its so lopsided its stupid. There is also an obvious rise in players cheating with no way to truly report them.

The OP of this thread has stated they feel GDI is inferior to NOD.I didn’t see any examples from the OP on why they believe GDI units are inferior.However, I wanted to give an example from my own experience.I have been facing an issue in my own games which really has left me stumped!Here is the situation:I like to play on occasion a Tech Heavy Deck.I enjoy playing it with Dr. Liang.I’m sure many people have had the thrill of doing the same.The deck I use is realistically a 2 Harvester deck.However, I never open with 2 harvesters because experience has led me to the conclusion that double harvesters out of the gate is a recipe for disaster.I normally open up with a Defensive type of set up.1 Harvester + 1 Missile SquadI feel this play is pretty standard.Now here is the issue which I have been facing mainly from the NOD faction.Most NOD players I have been facing have been opening up with a War Factory opening.They been opening up with an Attack Bike.HOWEVER, IT ISN’T BIKE RUSH!They seem to be opening up with it as a scouting tool.Than depending on what they see.They decide to go for harvester or spam bikes.My initial thought is they are doing this so that they can punish players who open with double harvester.Using 1 Attack Bike has a scout seems reason to me.I have no problem with any of this.The issue is what ends up happening next.My opponent uses the 1 attack bike to annoy my Harvester.I am usually forced to make another Missile Squad to help pincer/surround the 1 bike.My opponent will often try to dodge.Than they bring out a Chem-Buggy.THIS IS ESSENTIALLY WERE THE INFERIOR GDI VS. NOD COMES INTO QUESTION FOR ME.My Missile Squads are good vs. automobiles.The Chem Buggy is a automobile.However, My Missile Squads seem to do nothing against it.Most times my Missile Squads have the defensive position.The Chem Buggy still takes them out.Most cases I have observed the Chem Buggy to often have 1/4 to 1/2 its HP left.Even after rolling up vs. 2 Missile Squads.My opponents are very good at spraying with the Chem Buggy.Than backing off with it so the Missile Squad are not in range.I am than forced to scramble to get my units out of the lingering Toxic Cloud.However, They still end up getting crushed.I have even tried using Jump Jets.It didn’t phase the Chem Buggy at all.I will even share with you my Dr.Liang deck.-Missile Squad-Shock Troopers-Jump Jets-Wolverine-Zone Trooper-Sandstorm - You can even use the Titan here if you prefer.When you think of the entire sequence of how the game plays out, It seems like GDI has a huge downside to NOD.The Attack Bike + Chem Buggy combination here seems extremely strong.I will admit.I am using a tech deck.I don’t use this as my main grinding deck.However, I like to have fun everyone once in a while.I like to play with different units so the game isn’t as stale.My Aggro decks are probably my strongest decks.I have reached Masters with them.I use this Dr. Liang deck has a way to unwind.THE ISSUE IS DO YOU THINK THE CHEM BUGGY IS PERHAPS A LITTLE TO STRONG?Im opening with a defensive start.I feel like the defensive start is a very common opening start in Diamond + Masters.My opponent annoys with 1 Bike.I have to respond.Everything I am doing leading up to the situation seems pretty straight forward.I have thought about adding in a Pitbull or War Factory unit.However, The issue is the upfront cost to make the War Factory itself would throw a wrench in the situation.My opponent is opening straight from the War Factory.They are not incurring other building cost.If I was to open with a Barrack, Than try to transition into a War Factory.I don’t think I would have enough Tiberuim or time to be able to this!I think my opponent would over run the field & my harvester.The situation is so bad it makes you wonder if opening up with a Barrack is even viable at all.1 Chem Buggy taking out all my Infantry units despite several of them having good match ups vs. Automobiles.Once, my infantry fall by the hands of 1 Chem Buggy.My opponent spams Attack bikes to clean up my Harvester.I have lost dozens of times like this.I really don’t see a way to get around it.It feels like the whole sequence becomes an auto lose.Now if you guys think I am wrong.Please enlighten me with the play errors I am making here.What should my correct play be?If you can’t find a flaw with what I’m saying, Than perhaps the Chem Buggy needs to be investigated.The Chem Buggy + Attack Bike Combo seems like a real killer.

There's nothing you can do but open with a war or air factory. Nothing. I've run into people like this all the time. They don't even need a harvester because they will just get money from from waiting and then taking out your harvester.I've said it before. It's unbalanced with this chem buggy. It should be a tech unit. When it comes out, all GDI infantry is useless. There is nothing in the GDI deck that cost so cheap that can do the same. They can even open with it with no harvester This needs to be fixed. It sometimes escapes from three sets of missile troopers surrounding it and takes them all out.

If someone can kill a man with chopsticks, it doesn’t mean it’s properly balanced with a gun. Was your opinion based on numbers + skills? Or your argument is just someone managed to reach T league with GDII wouldn’t say NOD completely outperforms GDI, but you gotta define balance better than “someone did it so it’s balanced”

The main issue is that GDI requires a different play styles that might not be very comfortable for you. I struggle with this as well.
It is quite apparent from watching top players the personal skill is the number one factor regardless of the faction being played.

Someone just reached tiberium leage with GDI but not Nod. It's just a different playstyle, you might be better with Nod while others are better with GDI.
I personally find GDI easier and struggle with Nod.
It's balanced well.

I wouldn’t say NOD completely outperforms GDI, but you gotta define balance better than “someone did it so it’s balanced”

The developers of the game are collecting heaps of data. I'll trust their ability to analyze the data and balance accordingly. There's no benefits to them favoring one thing over the other. For every person they would please, there would be another that gets pissed.

The fact that they make adjustments to balance is showing fine tuning is not as simple as being able to analyze data. I trust their abilities, EA hired them. But this is a test-adjust process.
So yes you can trust them but if we are choosing what to believe here, you can understand me for having doubts.

No there isn’t. You’re right. But didn’t think anyone said it was intentional. At least I didn’t think so. If it’s not intentional, the idea of favoring for benefits doesn’t exist.
Although if it was intentional, we got a bigger problem then lol
- Asking for a more comprehensive evidence to say it is balanced is barely pissed off.
Pissed off is pissed off. Pursuing an answer is pursuing an answer. Not a bad thread to start looking for one.

Hmm cheating has been reported with something better then screen shots I've included video and websites and the software being used to where admins told me to send it in the past...problem is you will get a automated email back saying they will look into it but won't reply anymore to you.....so don't take anything admins say with any grain of salt.

You have to remember admins don't have any say in the way the game goes
And long as EA is still making money way it is, why would they care?

Please share the evidence with the community. EA/Redwood is, like most companies, resource limited. The collective community has plenty of time to analyze a replay and will be a much squeakier wheel if there is indeed foul play.
