I make it to Masters 1. But can never get passed it. Last season I made it to 3650 and never saw it again. This season I can’t get past about 3600. But this time around I’m facing a lot of Tiberium opponents. Smh
Well it seems kind of pointless to use scarabs in the first place unless it was paired with a scout to prevent the enemy from activating/attacking the scarab. I thought of an idea that turns the scarab into a support unit, you lose it for the sake of one of your tanks. These tanks are the ones that charge up before firing like scorpion tank, tick tank, centurion, predator and titan (if you could get these last 2 to side with Nod). What happens, is the scarab walks into the tile the tank is in and disappears. You now lost a scarab worth 30! Now the tank is boosted cause of the scarab (the scarab is now the next ammo of the tank). Its next shot is now 2 and a half times stronger than usual, and its attack is super charged per scarab used. So 2 squadrons of scarab will give the tank 4 super charged shots. There is a 20% chance of the tank backfiring, causing the tank to hurt itself to the point the enemy has no trouble killing it.

I use the Scarab as the scout unit...

A scout that can be easily beaten by other scouts; if only they were in sets of 3, can't attack one of the unit types and are less fragile. Either of these would be a good buff so the scarab is seen as worth it.

If it gets beat, it gets beat. The purpose of a scout unit is just to see what’s going on. A scout unit isn’t designed to be sustainable. I just wanna see what’s going on. I prefer using the Scarab as a scout over the Militants because if I get lucky, I can get a quick, cheap Harvester kill. I know I’m sacrificing site, I know I’m sacrificing speed... but it’s a gamble that I’m taking in hopes to get lucky.

One thing I know is that scarabs are good at destroying harvesters. WIth two harvesters and a scarab at the right places (Scarab next to harvester, harvesters moving on the same tile, you could get 160 from a 30 unit! I just wish they can help with your army's offense. Sure would want to sacrifice them to increase the damage that a tank provides for 2 reloads.

Well they aren't meant for offense. They are kind of like mines: You set them up somewhere and if an enemy comes nearby, they blow up.

And it’s kinda nice that after the unit count gets reset so you can IMMEDIATELY get new units out to do whatever’s next on the agenda once being awarded the bonus.

Never those get of it that way. That’s exactly what they are when they are holding a pad. A land mine. And when attacking Harvesters they are kamikaze warriors lol.
