How do you claim territory?

You own a certain amount of territory around your base when you start, this cannot be extended unless you have a second base or more. The only way you can have moreis to join an alliance and move closer together and as you destroy bases more land becomes available to you.

If the boundary flashes this will confirm what the new area is, should nobody move into that space within a time limit it will go back to unoccupied.
