@NyergudsSo you, the 1.06 author, are telling me that it can't be applied to the game version installed from the original 1997 discs?

I'm having a issues trying to get origin RA2 to stop crashing during campaign. I have few issues playing online thru cncnet. But the game itself is crashing when I run campaign mode. I have added the ddraw file. running as administrator. Game runs then just random game has encountered internal error and closes entire program. Any suggestions?i5 7600kgtx 1050

How to Get C&C Origin Ultimate collection to work

One easy step; Download this--->

These files may work for the rest of the items in the collection, however i cannot say for sure. If you use them for another game in the collection and it works, please be sure to tell us about it in a reply.

Make sure you've disabled Origin in-game and applied Bibber's fixed launchers: http://bibber.eu/downloads/cnc-ultimate-collection-launchers/
Then, place ddwrapper instead of ddraw in your RA2 directory: http://www.bitpatch.com/ddwrapper.html
If needed, apply the C&C Graphics Patcher to both RA2 and YR executables: http://www.stuffhost.de/files/cnc/CnCPatcher.html

Yeah, it works on all versions. As the site says:

The patch is compatible with The First Decade, The Ultimate Collection, and the CD version of C&C95. That includes the C&C95 ISOs which EA has released.
