Why won't the old CnC games work for me at all?
It just displays an empty error message in the 1995 Command & Conquer but in Tiberian Sun it said Can't run video mode or something like that.

As @FunkyFr3shCnCNet said, install the community patches; they fix these things.
Thx but is there a way to patch Red Alert 2 and yuri's revenge?
There is no All-in-One patch for Red Alert 2 yet, but there are separate files for the most known issues. What problem do you exactly have with the game?
The "Error unable to set video mode" thing.
Didn't work
There are only 3 reasons for this error:
1. Your windows runs in 32 bit color depth, which is usally the case since it is forced in win 8/10 (this can be fixed with my last suggestion, reduced color mode 16bit)
2. High dpi scaling (You can disable high dpi scaling in the same dialog as the reduced color mode setting)
3. You chose a resolution that is not supported (You can change your resolution via ra2.ini and ra2md.ini - try 1280*720)
Custom resolution settings look like this:

I don't have any .Ini files in the Red Alert II Folder...
