Invalid serial key for Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Ultimate edition DESPITE editing regedit

I've looked at the solutions for invalid serial codes online already. Edited regedit and all, and STILL the error comes out. Whenever I try to go online, it gives me the same message. Put the dashes on the serial code, tried taking them out and still nothing. Tweeted EA about getting in contact with their tech support but they just redirected me to the page that leads you to the FAQs and all. So can someone PLEASE help me out here?

    I was getting an error too when I tried to go online with Zero Hour. Then I looked at the registry and my serial was listed only for generals, not zero hour. I fixed it by copying the serial into the Zero Hour folder too:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Wow6432Node -> Electronic Arts -> EA Games -> Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour -> ergc
