Invalid serial key for Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Ultimate edition DESPITE editing regedit

I've looked at the solutions for invalid serial codes online already. Edited regedit and all, and STILL the error comes out. Whenever I try to go online, it gives me the same message. Put the dashes ...

I was getting an error too when I tried to go online with Zero Hour. Then I looked at the registry and my serial was listed only for generals, not zero hour. I fixed it by copying the serial into the Zero Hour folder too:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Wow6432Node -> Electronic Arts -> EA Games -> Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour -> ergc
