Subject: Urgent Request for Communication – Responsibility Towards a Large C&C Community
Dear EA Team,
I am reaching out to you once again today — not out of impatience, but out of responsibility.
To this day, we have received no response regarding the severe server issues affecting Command & Conquer Red Alert Remastered. I would like to clearly underline what this situation truly represents.
I am the founder of CCLP eSports. Together with my team, we maintain and support a community of over 10,000 active members, almost entirely focused on C&C Red Alert Remastered. This community continues to grow steadily.
What has been built here is far more than a hobby.
It is a structured community and e-sports ecosystem that connects people, creates opportunities, and gives a shared passion a platform.
This is why the current silence weighs heavily.
The fact that there has been no communication or signal from EA at all regarding the current server situation is not only disrespectful to me personally, but also to thousands of dedicated players, organizers, volunteers, and viewers who invest their time and trust into this game.
This becomes even more critical looking ahead:
In February, I am organizing the largest C&C event of recent years at Xperion Cologne.
Several hundred people will attend live on site, and thousands more will follow the event via broadcast and stream.
The success — and even the feasibility — of this event depends entirely on stable and functioning multiplayer servers.
As an organizer, I currently feel not only under econom
ic pressure, but also deeply concerned about my responsibility toward the people who rely on this project.
We are not asking for miracles — we are asking for communication.
Please give us a sign.
Please inform us about the current situation and whether solutions are being worked on.
Even a short status update would make a significant difference.

The Multiplayer Server Issues takes all the Fun from the Game....its horribel!
Please do something EA Devs! We run a German Chamionsship and next Month we have in Cologne the biggest LIVE Tournament, since Decades. All nearly impossibel with this Issues!
Please fix the Problems with the Multiplayer Servers. Wee need stabel Servers to run this piece of History.

Can confirm. It’s incredibly frustrating right now—we’re seeing everything from black screens to never-ending loading screens. Even the most patient players are only successfully launching a match about 20% of the time.
We really need an official update on this. Please don't let the Red Alert Remastered community perish!
EA, it's time you faced up to the community and at least provided answers, or better yet, released the game so the community can build their own servers to keep the legacy of Command & Conquer alive.

I am writing to confirm the technical issue I have been experiencing with Command & Conquer red alert remastered. I play the game daily but since mid november I have encountered significant difficulties securing matches. Some days as high as an 80% failure rate.
Despite attempting to troubleshoot the issue by using a vpn across various regions the game consistently fails to load. During my most recent session, I was only able to secure 2 (3 minute) matches in a 2 hour period. I was forced to frequently use alt f4 and restart the application entirely. Custom matches are also affected by this server issue.
I have reinstalled the game on multiple devices to test and still the issue remains.
The game is very important to me as I am serious top 10 contender this season and playing serves as a way to decompress from the daily struggles of life.
We all absolutely adore this wonderful game you have created and would love for it to stay going in the future.
I would be happy to supply any screenshot or video evidence to help identify the issue.
Please could you investigate the issues at your earliest convenience.

Also having this problem. First attempt at online games and I've tried 6 times unsuccessfully. Either get black screen of death or 'Unable to connect to servers' error message.

I’m beyond frustrated with the multiplayer servers for Command & Conquer: Red Alert. For the past TWO MONTHS, players like me have been completely locked out of multiplayer games—it’s been a total nightmare with zero reliable access. This has wrecked the entire community experience, and despite a flood of reports from dedicated fans, you’ve provided not one single update or scrap of communication. What gives? This radio silence is infuriating!
Enough is enough. Can you please provide some Information on What’s actually causing this prolonged fault? What steps are you taking to fix it right? And crucially, when will multiplayer be restored so we can actually play again? We loyal players deserve full transparency and a realistic timeline
I have data on exactly when the problem started - around 18:30 on November 22nd
I'm obviously speculating but I'd be willing to bet there were some Aws changes which affected scaling.
