Level caps in challenge match.
Each users unit levels should be averaged out. Lowest average should be the highest level that both can play at. So an 8 battling a 11,will cap the 11 at 8. Oh but I spent time and money to get to 1...

If you reach the platinum league, which is capped at 11, and your highest unit is level 8, the player you battle against has units at 11, they should not have their units leveled down to 8 because the other play only level 8's. It's the players fault for not having high level units when reaching platinum league. They got their by strategy and not by luck. So why should higher level players be brought down in unit levels when they work so hard to get those high levels?
- @NuclearGeneral1 when your level 8 in platinum.... Your. Not average. You have obviously out play the ladder system. Everybody knows you will hit a wall to where the units you're battling are always 2 or three levels above you. The more you win the further you get behind unless you spend money. Eventually this turns out to be a numbers game. your factory output, damage points and speed are so * to the other player that it's not even fun.
I rarely pay money on this game. And I've gotten quite a few units leveled up to level 11 in the past year or so, I've only spent about 500 on this game. And that's on the credits tier offer. Other than that, I use the diamonds from the daily login to get chambers. I also use the order crate option at the bottom to get cards. And I just joined an alliance yesterday for the first time since I got the game. I got to level 60 with no help from an alliance.
